You were recently promoted from your post and were returning happily that day.
After returning home, you were desperately thinking on how to give your family this surprise. However, you did not get the idea of how to deliver it exactly.
So, you kept pondering on the matter sitting on your couch.
Your son entered and asked you, “is everything cool, dad?”
You answered, “Yup! Perfectly! I was...you know...thinking to...eh...come on; I shall tell you everything to you and your mom at the dining table.”
“Suit yourself!” Answered your smart son! You quite admire this smartness of your child.
Anyway, you went at the dining table and met your family. On being asked by your wife about how the whole day went on, you answered, “Likewise! That is a blessing though! But, I gained something today!”
“Well, what is it?” asked you wife with a frowning smile that looked just wonderful on her pretty face.
“Well,” looking at both of them, you continued, “I got promoted today!”
These four words of yours were followed by a big ‘Wow!’ from both of the persons sitting with you.
By that time, you also had figured out on how to surprise them.
You said, “To celebrate this, I would like to take you to a restaurant. What do you guys say?”
They agreed immediately. But, you were again in confusion on selecting the perfect restaurant for them.
Now your son read your mind and said, “Dad, if you’ll allow me, then I can help you get the perfect restaurant. Should I?”
Having your consent, he started, “You normally take us to restaurants of 5 star hotels in Kolkata. HHI can be our destination. It has a variety of restaurants including the Indian one named Kalash, the oriental one named The Oriental Express and – oh yes! – the multi-cuisine coffee shop named Mythh.” Now, as you have known them, you planned a date at one of the restaurants of this hotel.
